‘Terms of Service’ Please read the following rules carefully.
Our first priority is to members that have come here because of their interest in this fascinating hobby and also the relaxed atmosphere we provide. This forum is unlike many others available in that we represent an extension of our hobbyist club and its core values. If you have an issue with another forum member or the ‘Terms of Service’ you must let an administrator know immediately. We have a zero-tolerance policy in effect against ANY personal attacks. We will not tolerate anyone insulting another individual's opinion nor name calling and will BAN repeat offenders from using the forum. The ‘Terms of Service’ guidelines of this forum govern the behaviour and activities of ALL members. Do not post anything distasteful or anything you feel might offend someone else. Think carefully, if you are unsure, contact a moderator or administrator for help. This applies to ALL forums.
You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, or in any way invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violate any applicable Canadian law(s). You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this forum or you have the express written consent of the owner. "Treat others as you would want them to treat you" There shall be NO cursing, swearing, name calling, racism, or use of any obscenities on this forum.
Links to any undesirable sites (i.e. pornographic, hate literature, indecent material or any site that the administration deems inappropriate) are not permitted period. If you post a link to another site, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure that the website does not contain questionable content ie: graphics and or language. This forum uses a word censor which is in place to edit words that are not permitted due to this forum being family rated. Any attempt to defeat the censor will result in an immediate warning. Using symbols to represent words are not permitted and will suffer the same penalty.
Moderators and administration have the final word on the interpretation of ALL rules. Remember the PRAC Community Forum is a family forum with members of all ages. Please keep this in mind when making posts. When selling or looking for an item, we ask that you refrain from prematurely bumping (moving up) your post for at least 3 days (72 hrs). Thread crapping and or hijacking is strictly prohibited. If you do not agree with the asking price of an item for sale for example, this matter must not be discussed in the forum. Please take the issue up in private with the seller.
As a member of our forum you must respect the authority of ALL moderators and administrators. Public discussions of moderator or administrator actions are not allowed on the forum. It is forbidden to protest moderator actions in forum posts. If you don't like something that a moderator has done please send a Private Message or E-mail to the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem directly with them. The final link in the chain is to discuss the problem with an Administrator.
PRAC encourages everyone to have their own opinions, to question certain subject matter posted on these forums. We promote the idea of lively debates as long as your criticism is constructive and polite. Moderators and Administration have the right to delete any posts or entire threads if necessary, should they be considered abusive, offensive or in violation of the rules. Each individual forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum.
When sharing your pictures with members, please try and keep any files you attach small (under 100Kb) Not everyone has a fast high speed connection. If you don't know how to resize your pictures smaller, ask the moderator of that forum for help before posting your message. Please try and keep your signature brief. It's annoying to see posts that have signatures and or images that are much bigger than the messages in the post. Post counts on our PRAC forum are in place only to acknowledge contributions made by our members. We are in no way biased to the amount of posts our members make. Please do not misinterpret post counts for anything other than what they are intended.
Advertising and solicitations are NOT permitted. Posting of advertisements (other than in the appropriate "for sale" forums), chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate on this forum. You are ONLY permitted to advertise your site in your signature.
PRAC reserves the right to change these rules at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to read any and all announcements regarding policy changes for this forum. PRAC does not have any knowledge as to the accuracy of any posting or transaction and are not responsible for any business transactions that originate from posts in this forum or site. PRAC does not receive any financial remuneration for any transactions on this forum.
You agree not hold PRAC, it's members, executive and Board of Directors responsible for any material posted on this forum. The moderators and Administrators are here voluntarily, because we are trying to maintain a forum worthy of the tradition started with our club in 1971.
